After dodging the most glorious array of gigs by the Tamar bridge. We were in complete awe as we passed under the pair of bridges. Shortly after the bridge the engine coughed spluttered and then cut out it sounded awful :-( It would appear the damage was more than an oil hose and the word catastrophic and terminal. So we are currently sat on a conveniently placed swinging mooring that we managed to pick up after anchoring and then towing a line with the dinghy. There are alot of options to evaluate, but the one thing we have to keep in mind is that she is a sailing boat and she is happiest when sailing so we are not permanently stuck we just need to adapt our sailing!
We are lucky my lovely Aunty and cousin came down to meet us at Saltash, unfortunately slightly distracted. Reminding me again how very lucky we are to have such a loving and caring band of family and friends. Well for now I'll sign off and leave you in peace. Much love to you all xxx
