It has surprised us how quickly we grow fond of places. Saltash is such a pretty place and the high street has all the basics with a fair sized Co-op. The bus routes are good as well. I don't know how many times we have driven past but it is definitely come back by boat. Today we explored the 'beaches' they are covered in a fragile slate that sparkles beautifully in the light. We built a little fire and toasted Easter marshmallows it felt a bit like offering a sacrifice as they were shaped as chicks and bunnies! We are beginning to realise it is the little things. Anyway brace yourself Torpoint the Pirates will be with you tomorrow under sail alone!!!

Hiya, great to read you are all well and have enjoyed exploring around Saltash. I hope Janna enjoys sailing to Torpoint tomorrow. Torpoint is up the Tamar from Cremyll and beautiful Edgecombe Park.

That sounds fabulous Jayne, we will still be here 😃 unfortunately we are tied by my commute to Derriford hospital as well as our maneuverability under sail alone (our nerves are already shot!) We were talking about Cremyll earlier as we hadn't got round to it when we were moored almost next to the ferry. Keep in touch it would be lovely to catch up xxx

Ah one of my best friend's daughters works as a physio at Derriford, I hope you are liking it there, alhough I imagine the work is as intense as any hospital! This was where Ben and Joe arrived into the world! If you get a chance take the children to Edgecombe Park, its a fab place to explore, especially in the spring when all the flowers are out, and The Orangery is good for refreshments or when it is raining! Yes il be in touch xx Leave a Reply. |
